Automated Gates – don’t force them open
Do not leave the gates open or force automated gates to stay open – including by blocking sensors. This is a security and safety issue which can impact all residents. In addition, forcing the automated gates to stay open can interrupt their operation – requiring them to be manually reset or cause damage. All gates are monitored by CCTV. If residents (owners, renters or their contractors) cause gates to require a manual reset, or repair – the Owners Corporation may charge you for these costs.
Common area pavers – Be careful!
The pavers in the common area are raised (i.e. float) above the concrete slab. They can crack easily if heavy items are dropped or moved across them.
Vehicles or trailers must never be driven over pavers at the main entrance
Make sure any damage is reported to the Building Manager at the time so that repairs can be arranged. The Owners’ Corporation may charge the cost of repairs to the responsible party.
