Common areas belong to the Owners Corporation and at 101 Grattan Street the main areas are the garden, bike storage, letter boxes and basement carpark, but also includes the stairwells and other walkways.
Residents must not leave personal items in the common area, for example, mattresses, washing, bikes, etc.
Noticeboard
We have a small notice board located near the green wall and stairs to the carpark. We highly encourage use of this space to communicate in the building. This is a great place to put up a notice advertising household goods you may no longer want, a spare car space, or need a cat sitter. The noticeboard can assist in disposing of unwanted items when moving in or out by finding a new home in the building rather than disposing of them as waste.
Please do not leave items in the foyer maked as ‘free’ or similar. It attracts theives.
Reporting issues in the common area
There are several avenues to take if reporting an issue in a common area. If you are renting this is by contacting your real estate agent. An owner can contact the Owners Corporation Manager and/or Building Manager.
